The Marvel Pinoy Initiative is a group of diverse people sharing a common interest, that of collecting Marvel Comics collectibles is dedicated to providing a friendly and welcoming community to all. To that end, your application for Membership is also your agreement to abide by the rules outlined below in order to maintain a fun and pleasant environment for everyone. Repeated violations of these rules may result in temporary or even permanent removal from the forums.

Strictly Prohibited Content:
- Warez / Piracy / Hacking / Viruses, or illegal mp3's
- Adult / Obscene material
- Depictions of Minors/Children (even minimal sexual context is not allowed)
- Illegal Drugs / Terrorism
- Derogatory/Slanderous/Racial/Explicit Material
- Sharing of passwords / Serial Numbers /
- Invasion on privacy / Impersonation of others
- Spam / MLM
- Harassment
- Illegal Conduct of Any Sort

1. Use of inappropriate language will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, statements, images, usernames, and words that are sexual, vulgar, obscene, profane, defamatory, abusive, hateful, bigoted, or otherwise offensive to others; thinly-veiled obscenities (using alternate letters/symbols); harassment and verbal attacks intended to belittle, humiliate, threaten, or cause embarrassment to another Member; and material advocating or discussing illegal activities.

2. Members are not to post personal or confidential information about any other person, and are encouraged to exercise good judgment about revealing one’s own personal information.

3. No advertising, including personal business, websites, or commercial solicitation in forums outside of classifieds/marketplace. Personal signatures that are not blatant advertisements will be allowed within reason; keep all personal signatures tasteful and their size to a minimum in consideration of those with slower Internet connections.

4. Postings intended to disrupt the boards will be removed immediately upon detection; multiple violations may result in administrative action. Such postings include, but are not limited to, spamming (multiple copies in one area or the same communication in multiple areas), off-topic threads, and using other Members’ names in subject headings with derogatory intent. Due to their divisive effect postings of a political nature are not permitted. Off-topic threads which do not otherwise violate these guidelines will be relocated to the appropriate forum.

5. Embedding photos, pictures, artwork and links to other Internet sites is allowed and encouraged, within these stated guidelines. Pornographic photos and links to pornographic or otherwise offensive Internet sites will be removed immediately upon detection. We only allow TOY RELATED or personal photos as avatars. Images of other members should NOT be used as avatars for personal attacks.

6. Members are responsible for the content of their posts. Management reserves the right to edit or delete any part of a Member’s post deemed inappropriate. However, Management does not guarantee that such action will be taken before an offensive post is viewed by others; users are forewarned that they may see inappropriate content before Management is available to act. Management will make the effort to contact a Member when an action is taken on said Member’s post, but such contact is not guaranteed. It is the Member’s responsibility to ensure Management has a valid email address for the Member on file.

7. All rules apply to the use of the Private Messaging feature.

8. Evaluation of the appropriateness or offensiveness of any content is at the sole discretion of Management, based upon these stated guidelines. Management reserves the right to take whatever disciplinary action it deems appropriate for a given violation, including suspension or termination of a Member’s account.

The process will usually, but not always, follow this path:
1st offense – verbal warning
2nd offense – temporary ban
3rd offense – permanent ban.

And lastly, there will be no posting of torrents, torrent links of scans, and other copyrighted stuff .
